MIGUEL DE MACHEDE This rural village, also about 4Km from the estate, has some interesting religious buildings and six tapirs located on private property, which can be visited by arrangement with the owners. STROLL IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD - AZARUJA Located 4km from the estate, this village began to gain weight in the second half of eighteenth century, due to the development of cork industry that is still the main activity in the area. The Pillory (18th century), the church of St. Benedict de Mato and the annex dolmen are the main points of interest. IN THE HOMESTEAD Being a rural setting, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alentejo plains, go for a refreshing swim in the pool or either walk or cycle by the homestead, watching the fauna and flora at hand. At night, the Alentejo starry sky offers you with a unique sight not to be missed.
