Monte da Azarujinha is a rural tourism estate, set on a 140 acres environmentally friendly property, which is made up of a one hundred year old agricultural house conversion and the construction of a new building consisting of five en suite bedrooms and a multi-purpose living room, a project designed by Aboim Inglez Architects (Ana Maria and Ricardo Aboim Inglez).Completed in December 2014, these conversion and construction works fulfilled a lifelong dream of the current owners Almerinda and Carlos Duarte.Recently the revival of the agricultural activity has also started with the reforestation of 30 acres of stone pine while a planning project is underway for the plantation of 30 acres of almond and walnut trees. “Our mission is to give you a life time experience of the peaceful Portuguese countryside in a cozy and natural environment.”
